2011-2012 Women's Swimming Roster
Biography
2009-10: had one of the finest seasons in the history of the program... became the first UNE swimmer to qualify for the ECAC Championship (100 freestyle, 100 butterfly)... totaled 828 points for the season on the strength of 44 wins and 15 second-place performances... earned all-New England accolades in the 50-free, 100-free and 100-fly... holds four individual team records, two team relay records and two pool records... was twice chosen as the UNE Athlete of the Month.
2008-09: won three events (50 [25.96] and 100 [57.38] freestyle, 50 butterfly [28.75]) and finished second (100 butterfly [1:03.47]) in a fourth at the TCCC Invitational... set a UNE team record in the 50 butterfly (28.02)... posted Campus Center pool marks in the 50 and 100 freestyle, as well as in the 400 freestyle relay.
Prior to UNE: honor roll student and member of National Honor Society at Barnstable High School... a Boston Globe and Boston Herald all-scholastic selection... captain of the swim team... Division I Massachusetts State champion and Sectional record holder... was a YMCA New England record holder/champion and YMCA Nationals swimmer... a member of the Key Club.
Personal: daughter of Mary and Dan Wareham... applied exercise major, and member of the AES Club.
