For the second consecutive day, Husson's Ty Dickson was under par, but so was Colby's Jack Marquardt, and they shared medalist honors at two-under 68.
Representing UNE,
Owen Lee and
Sean Guerrette both shot 78.
Sean Zerega was in at 79, and
Fernand-Olivier Perron supplied 81 in his season debut.
"The men took a step forward today and showed great resilience playing the last half of the round in the cold, hard rain," UNE head coach Kasey Keenan added. "Very happy to see Owen find his confidence, and Sean G. put together a very consistent back nine. Sean Z. had it going on the front, and has been proving he is very capable to competing at this level. Fern played his final 13 holes at four-over-par, showing a ton of grit after a tough start. We were all pleased to see him take advantage of this opportunity."
Next up for the Nor'easters will be a Tuesday trip to Augusta Country Club for the Maine Maritime Academy Mariners Invitational.
