OAKLAND, Maine -- Sean Zerega, Noah Fay, and Sean Guerrette each found a place in the top quarter of the field as the University of New England men's golf team finished 4th out of eight institutions at the University of Maine-Farmington Invitational on Saturday (Sep. 19) at Waterville Country Club.

The Nor'easters came in with a group total of 318, ending behind Husson University (293), Colby College (305), and Southern Maine Community College (317). Maine Maritime Academy was next, 20 strokes back of UNE. The low individual round of the day went to Husson's Ty Dickson with a one-under-par 69.

Zerega was sixth in the field of 40 players with a 76, while Fay carded 77, and Guerrette shared ninth at 78.

"We posted three solid rounds today on Waterville's difficult greens," commented UNE head coach Kasey Keenan. "Sean Z. was incredibly steady all day and displayed great control of his golf ball. It's also very encouraging to see both Noah and Sean G. play well in back-to-back weekends now. The men are looking forward to getting another shot at WCC tomorrow."

Owen Lee carded an 87 to complete the team score for the Nor'easters, who will challenge in Colby's Sid Farr Invitational on Sunday.
