LEEDS, Maine -- Abby Flanagan produced a dazzling 1-under-par round of 71 to capture the title for the University of New England in women's golf action at the Saint Joseph's College Invitational on Sunday (Apr. 26) at Springbrook Golf Club.

Flanagan was the lone Nor'easter competing in the individual-only event, and notched a 24-stroke victory over the next closest in the field of six.

Back on one of the tracks she grew up playing regularly, Flanagan dialed up six birdies on the way to the program's lowest solo score by four shots.

Flanagan and Danielle DeJon are scheduled to wrap the season for UNE on Monday at the University of Hartford Invitational.
