CAPE ELIZABETH, Maine -- Led by rounds of 77 from both Ben Donahue and Owen Lee, the University of New England men's golf team took 3rd place out of six institutions challenging for the title in Southern Maine Community College's Seawolf Shootout, which was played Tuesday (Sep. 30) at Purpoodock Club.

The Nor'easters totaled 316 as a group to wind up behind Husson University (303) and SMCC (307), while just in front of the University of Southern Maine (318). Husson's Ty Dickson topped the field of 32 golfers with a one-over-par 71.

UNE's score was aided by Noah Fay with an 80 and Jimmy Hulland at 82.

It was the last tune-up for the Nor'easters before the 2025 Conference of New England (CNE) Men's Golf Championship, which begins Round 1 on Saturday at Tumble Brook Country Club in Connecticut.
