WENHAM, Mass. -- Powered by scores of 75 and 76 from Abby Flanagan and Amanda Forziati, respectively, the University of New England women's golf squad cruised past Gordon College, 338-369, in a dual match at Wenham Country Club on Wednesday (Sep. 24).

Flanagan carded 10 pars and one birdie around the par 67 track, while Forziati was the only with multiple birdies on the day. Ella Lemieux shared the fourth-best number out of the 12 players (91), and an opening birdie by Danielle DeJon started her towards a round of 96 to complete the UNE total.

Myla Glaser led the Fighting Scots with an 86.

The Nor'easters get one day of rest before heading to Val Halla Golf Course on Friday for the Southern Maine Community College Seawolf Shootout.
