WENHAM, Mass. -- Owen Lee and Jimmy Hulland shared the low round of the day, with a 6-over-par 71, as the University of New England men's golf team defeated Gordon College by a 292-303 tally on Wednesday (Sep. 24) at Wenham Country Club.

The Nor'easters also received a 72 from Ben Donahue -- all three were better than what the Fighting Scots had to offer, with a pair of 73s from Cole Scannell and Viktor Adolfsson.

Hulland registered the only even-par back nine (34) among the 13 players competing. Lee led all players with three birdies in the round.

The UNE team score also received a 78 from Casey Huse. In action as one of three individuals was Noah Fay, carding a 73.

The Nor'easters will now prepare for 36 holes over the weekend at the Bowdoin College Invitational at Brunswick Golf Club.
