OLD ORCHARD BEACH, Maine -- The University of New England Athletics Department welcomed more than 110 participants across 29 teams to Dunegrass Golf Club under perfect weather on Friday (May 30) for the 2025 Vaughn Twaddel Golf Classic, which is named in honor of the longtime Westbrook College professor and UNE men's golf coach.

Coordinated by head golf coach Kasey Keenan, the field annually includes alumni from all three colleges (UNE, St. Francis, Westbrook), friends and supporters of Nor'easter athletics, and current University staff who play an 18-hole scramble and then share a lunch while the tournament and raffle prizes are distributed.
