The conference all-sports trophy was introduced in 2013-14 and is awarded annually to the institution that performs the best across the board in league competition. Points are awarded based on CNE tournament championships (10 points) and tournament runner-up finishes (9 points), followed by the regular-season position (8 points, etc.) in the standings for the remaining teams. The totals are then averaged out against the number of CNE sports sponsored by an institution.
