WORCESTER, Mass. -- Trevor Flanagan and Ben Donahue carded rounds of 76 and 77 to pace the University of New England men's golf squad at the Rich Korzec Invitational hosted by Worcester State University on Monday (Apr. 28) played on Tatnuck Country Club.

The Nor'easters totaled 329 as a team, which shared sixth place with Nichols College in the field of 10 institutions. Western New England University cruised to the win with 288, 17 strokes ahead of the host Lancers, and with Salem State University (309), Rhode Island College (313), and Emmanuel College (316) rounding out the top five.

Flanagan and Donahue trailed only three out of the 54 players on the day with 10 pars apiece around the par 70 course. Sean Guerrette and Tyler Politano completed the UNE score with cards of 84 and 92, respectively.

Individually, Derek Johnson of WNEU posted 66 to be the medalist by five.
