LEWISBURG, Pa. -- Nina Parziale of the University of New England track & field team placed 22nd out of 46 runners in the 10,000 meters on Saturday at Bucknell University's Bison Outdoor Classic, held at Christy Mathewson Stadium.

In a loaded field, Parziale was the 9th of 18 Division III competitors across the finish line with a time of 36:53.08, which was just 2.49 seconds above their school-record mark set last year.

Entering the day, the time would've been ranked 24th in NCAA Division III this season. Parziale did qualify for the 2025 New England Championships with the time; there had been six individuals in the region with faster performances when action concluded on Friday.
