BIDDEFORD, Maine -- The University of New England women's swimming team amassed event victories in all 13 races to defeat Saint Joseph's College of Maine by a 191-18 margin on Wednesday evening (Nov. 12) at the Campus Center Pool.

Mic Hujus won three times for the Nor'easters (2-0), clocking 29.29 in the 50-back, 25.36 in the 50-free, and 27.71 in the 50-fly. She also led off the 200-free relay with a 25.49, and Regina Dyer, Liv Roux, and Tess Zurawski brought it home for first place with a total time of 1:50.22.

Maeve McDermott and Meghan Cabral both added a pair of wins. McDermott was just under one second faster than Mya Peters in the 200-free (2:12.08), and had a similar margin over Zurawski in the 100-back (1:07.49). Cabral topped the 50-breast (35.42) and 100-IM (1:08.84).

Roux (100-breast: 1:21.56), Peters (100-free: 1:02.02), Eloise Ring (500-free: 5:55.25), and Emmy Hinson (100-fly: 1:12.64) each chipped in with one triumph.

UNE opened the meet with Roux, Cabral, Ring, and McDermott touching the wall in 2:03.53 to claim the 200-medley relay.

The Nor'easters get right back to work on Friday at Simmons University.
