WENHAM, Mass. -- Maya Brochu, Sally Kelton, and Sylvie DiBartolomeo each registered top-15 efforts to power the University of New England to 3rd place in the field of nine teams at the 2025 Conference of New England (CNE) Women's Cross Country Championship, which was run at the campus of Gordon College on Saturday (Nov. 1).

The Nor'easters (91 points) wound up behind Suffolk University (21) and Endicott College (74), and ahead of the host Fighting Scots (114). Suffolk put the first four competitors across the line, guided by Sofia Moukaddem with a 6K time of 22:04.1 -- 0.5 seconds in front of teammate Grace Miller and almost three seconds clear of Tess Drury. It's the Rams' fifth title in a row.

Brochu followed the Suffolk contingent with a time of 22:44, good for 5th place. Kelton (9th; 23:04) and DiBartolomeo (15th; 23:47) also landed in the range for all-conference status, which goes to the first 15 runners and will be finalized along with the major awards next week.

Rounding out the UNE number was Gianna Rodriguez (25th; 24:15) and Corinna Hobbs (40th; 24:56).

On November 15, the Nor'easters will race at the NCAA Division III East Championship, which will be held at Hopkinton Fairgrounds in New Hampshire.
