BIDDEFORD, Maine -- Adria Horton notched victories in three individual races to pace the University of New England women's swimming team in a 202.5-43.5 triumph over the University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth at the Campus Center Pool on Saturday (Jan. 25).

The Nor'easters improve to 6-1 in dual competition, heading into the final weekend of regular season action next week, which begins on Friday at Bates College and then shifts to Westfield State University on Saturday.

Horton captured the 100-fly (1:03.30), the 500-free (5:48.87), and the 400-IM (5:09.07). Her time in the 400-IM was the second-best among Little East Conference (LEC) swimmers in 2024-25.

Adding to the UNE dominance was Mic Hujus, who cruised to a pair of wins in the 100-free (55.46) and the 50-fly (28.63). The effort in the 100-free was clocked at 1.46 seconds faster than anyone else in the LEC this season.

Payton Walmsley also collected two solo wins, coming in the 50-free (27.72) and 200-breast (2:42.50). In the 50-free, Ari Cioffi (-0.46) and Eloise Ring (-0.66) weren't far behind Walmsley.

Ring swam away with an event victory of her own in the 1,000-free (12:14.57). Four others joined the party in the winner's circle with one, including Elli Donovan in the 200-free (2:12.32), Liv Roux in the 50-back (31.52), Maeve McDermott in the 50-breast (33.50), and Tess Zurawski in the 200-back (2:26.14).

The 400-medley relay of Roux, Walmsley, McDermott, and Hujus posted 4:24.32, and the 200-free relay combo of Hujus, Cioffi, Roux, and Zurawski touched the wall in 1:49.36 -- both earning top points in those races.
