OLD ORCHARD BEACH, Maine -- The University of New England Athletics Department welcomed over 100 participants across 27 teams to Dunegrass Golf Club under perfect weather on Friday (May 31) for the 2024 Vaughn Twaddel Golf Classic, which is named in honor of the longtime Westbrook College professor and UNE men's golf coach.

Coordinated by head golf coach Kasey Keenan, the field of alumni from all three colleges (UNE, St. Francis, Westbrook), friends and supporters of Nor'easter athletics, and current University staff played an 18-hole scramble and then shared a lunch while the tournament and raffle prizes were distributed.
