Mount Holyoke picks up 149-113 decision over UNE

SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. -- Isabel Dunn contributed three individual victories to help power Mount Holyoke College to a 149-113 win over the University of New England in women's swimming action Saturday afternoon (Nov. 9).

Annika Doeppers had a strong afternoon for the Nor'easters, claiming wins in both the 200-yard freestyle (2:09.18) and 500-yard free (5:47.47). Rookie Payton Walmsley matched Doeppers with a pair of victories, placing first in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:12.90) and 200-yard breaststroke (2:41.69). 

Adria Horton was the other UNE swimmer to win an event, topping all competitors in the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 2:22.02. Tess Zurawski was runner-up in both the 200-yard backstroke and 1000-yard freestyle.

UNE is back in action next Saturday when Simmons University will come to the Campus Center for a 12 p.m. meet.
