MIDDLEBURY, Vt. -- No.1 Middlebury College netted a pair of goals in each of the first three periods en route to a 6-0 field hockey decision versus the University of New England on Sunday afternoon (Sep. 10) at Kohn Field.

Sadie LeStage gave the hosts an early edge after just 87 seconds, and Katie George padded the cushion five minutes later.
Sarah Bona scored twice around tallies by Audrey Lazar and Caroline Segal to round out the Middlebury offense. KK Newton was credited with the win between the pipes without needing to make a stop.
UNE returns home to face Colby College on Wednesday (6:30 p.m.).
