BIDDEFORD, Maine -- The University of New England women's lacrosse team and five individual student-athletes have been noted by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) for academic excellence in 2022-23, as it was announced on Wednesday (July 26).

The Nor'easters were among the 138 Division III institutions listed as Academic Honor Squads, which require programs to achieve a collective grade point average of 3.2 or higher during the academic year.

2023 IWLCA Academic Honor Squads

Student-athletes Ann Chapman, Jenna Deschamps, Mollie Patenaude, Keagan Dunbar, and Kelsey Hartigan were among the 964 individuals named to the Academic Honor Roll, which highlights juniors, seniors, and graduate students who have maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher.
