BIDDEFORD, Maine -- The University of New England women's rugby squad has placed five student-athletes on the National Intercollegiate Rugby Association (NIRA) 2022-23 All-Academic Team.

Mackenzie Burke, Olivia Mitchell, Liz Cogan, Elizabeth Goodrich, and Johanna Robinson all qualified for the distinction, achieving a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher with at least sophomore status, while also participating in at least 50 percent of the team's matches.
