PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- The University of New England has received the Little East Conference (LEC) Team Academic Award in the sport of women's swimming for the 2022-23 academic year, as it was released on Friday (June 23).

The teams with the highest grade point average from the year in each of the league's 21 championship sports are recognized with the award.

In the first season as an associate member of the LEC, the Nor'easters posted the second-highest team GPA out of the 21 honorees.
