OLD ORCHARD BEACH, Maine -- The University of New England Athletics Department entertained nearly 120 participants across 30 teams in perfect conditions at Dunegrass Golf Club on Friday (May 26) for the 2023 Vaughn Twaddel Golf Classic, which is named in honor of the longtime Westbrook College professor and UNE men's golf coach.
Organized by head men's golf coach Kasey Keenan, the field of alumni from all three colleges, friends of Nor'easter athletics, and current University staff played an 18-hole scramble and then enjoyed a banquet with the tournament and raffle prizes.
Thank you to all the companies, groups, and individuals for supporting the Twaddel family, the Athletics Department, and the University.
