Scoring Summary

BIDDEFORD, Maine – Bishop's University (Quebec) topped the University of New England women's rugby team, 31-7, on Friday evening at Blue Storm Stadium.
 
Bishops jumped in front 14-0 at the 15-minute mark after quick tries by Isabelle Aguiar and Melody Leggett. Michelle St. Laurent converted both of the kicks. Gabrielle Leverette touched in for a score and Leggett added another as the visitors led 24-0 at the break.
 
Delaney Hansen found the try zone to put the Nor'easters on the board in the 49th minute. Salma Bezzat made the conversion to trim the deficit to 24-7. Megane Beaudoin scored a try for Bishops in the 54th minute.
 
UNE returns to action at Blue Storm Stadium on Saturday, April 15 for the Nor'easter 7s Tournament beginning at 10 a.m.
