ALFRED, N.Y. -- Second-seeded Adrian College outscored third-seeded University of New England 21-5 after halftime on its way to a 31-10 victory Saturday (Nov. 11) in a National Intercollegiate Rugby Association (NIRA) Division III Championship semifinal-round match played at Alfred University. 

With the win the Bulldogs advance to the NIRA Division III Championship Game and will face top-seeded Bowdoin College next Saturday at Harvard University. UNE had faced Bowdoin in each of the last three championship matches.

Celeste Valerio had both of the Nor'easters' tries. Paige Longcore contributed a pair to lead the Adrian attack. Madison Williams was 3 of 5 on conversion attempts for the Bulldogs.
