Results

BANGOR, Maine -- The University of New England women's swimming team participated in the non-scoring Husson University Relays meet on Saturday (Oct. 21) at Webber Pool, among four varsity programs. Out of six events, the Nor'easters won two and finish second twice.

The Nor'easters were tops in the 200-butterfly relay by more than four seconds (2:00.11), with April Falstad, Adria Horton, Katie Durrua, and Mic Hujus.

Hujus, Eloise Ring, Jess Russell, and Horton touched the wall first in the normal 200-freestyle relay (1:48.29) by nearly two seconds.

In another one of the usual relays, the 200-medley, the Nor'easters clocked 2:00.50 through the efforts of Liv Roux, Meghan Cabral, Durrua, and Hujus. The time was just 0.33 behind the University of Maine-Orono Club team.

Russell, Ring, Roux, and Caitlin Cournoyer were 1.85 seconds off the pace of the host Eagles in the 200-backstroke relay with a time of 2:06.40.

UNE opens its home slate on Friday (6 p.m.) when Saint Joseph's College of Maine visits the Campus Center Pool.
