UNE runs 4th at Pop Crowell Invitational

Results

WENHAM, Mass. -- A cluster of University of New England men's cross country runners placing between 15th and 21st accounted for the team winding up fourth out of six on Saturday (Sep. 17) at the Pop Crowell Invitational hosted by Gordon College.

Plymouth State University notched a score of 20 with claim the title, with Endicott College (59) and the host Fighting Scots (81) ahead of the Nor'easters (88). PSU's Michael Olson (26:20) edged teammate Mike Barrett (26:21) for the solo crown around the 8K course.

UNE got its number from Kyle Boucher (15th; 28:08), Kevin Jasani (16th; 28:15), Sebastian Zeman (18th; 28:21), Jack Curry (20th; 28:23), and Nolan Alexander (21st; 28:25).

In two weeks, the Nor'easters are slated to run at the Maine Championship in Bangor.
