BIDDEFORD, Maine -- Seven University of New England ice hockey student-athletes between the men's and women's programs have been recognized as American Hockey Coaches Association (AHCA) Krampade All-American Scholars for the 2021-22 season, as it was announced in early July.
Student-athletes were noted for attaining a 3.75 grade point average in both semesters during the academic year, while participating in 40 percent of the team's games during the season. Some waivers were granted due to injuries or for back-up goaltenders.
There were four Nor'easters on the women's side:
Meghan Hamilton,Â
Carolyn Curley,
Piper Desorcie, and
Courtney Himes.
The three for the UNE men:
Alexander Vukota,
Brent Hill, and
Aidan Hosein.
