Six Nor'easters recognized for strength & conditioning

BIDDEFORD, Maine -- University of New England student-athletes Meghan Hamilton of women's ice hockey, Katie Berger of women's rugby, Taylor Gibson of women's swimming, Alex Kravchuk of men's basketball, Austin Morgan of men's ice hockey, and Mike Spillane of men's lacrosse have been highlighted as 2021-22 National Strength & Conditioning Association (NSCA) All-American Athletes of the Year.

The All-American Strength & Conditioning Athlete of the Year Award from the NSCA recognizes collegiate and high school athletes whose athletic accomplishments, in the opinion of their strength coach, reflect their dedication to strength training and conditioning.

UNE's recipients were nominated by Lyndie Kelley '11, Coordinator of Strength & Conditioning, for displaying exemplary Nor'easter G.R.I.T. (Greatness, Resilience, Integrity, Tenacity) over their years.
