BIDDEFORD, Maine – Bridgewater State scored the final four goals of the game to turn a two-goal deficit into a 10-8 victory over the University of New England in non-conference women's lacrosse action at UNE Blue Bolt Field on Friday.

Nicole Corriveau for a score to put UNE (0-3) ahead 8-6 with 2:52 remaining in the third quarter. The two-goal lead was the largest by either team up to that point. Katie O'Brien added a goal for the Bears with 1:55 left in the third to trim the deficit to one heading into the final quarter.
Delaney Langton put home her fifth goal of the game to start the fourth and tie the game 8-8. Erin McIntyre scored on a free-position shot at the 8:52 mark of the quarter to give Bridgewater State its first lead since the middle of the second quarter. Katie Swart added a goal with 1:35 to play to put the game out of reach.
The first half was back-and-forth and the Bears built a 4-3 advantage at the 7:26 mark of the second quarter with help from three goal by Langton.
Morgan White put home her first of the season for UNE with 2:14 left in the period to make the game 4-4 at the half. The teams traded goals to start the third before the two-goal spurt by the Nor'easters gave them the late lead.
Anna Stowell scored twice for UNE. Corriveau added a goal and two assists.
Barrie Guertin also had a score for the Nor'easters.
Madison Bruzzese made a season-best 13 saves.
Hayley Carron recorded a goal, assist, and two caused turnovers for the Bears. Brooke La Torra had 11 saves.
UNE continues its home stand on Sunday against Wheaton at 1 p.m.
