BIDDEFORD, Maine – Seven different players scored for the University of New England women's rugby team as it rolled to a 55-0 victory over Castleton University on Senior Day at UNE Blue Storm Stadium on Saturday.
Salma Bezzat scored her first of two tries on the afternoon in the 2
nd minute of action. She converted on the kick to put the Nor'easters in front 7-0 early [

Mackenzie Burke faked a pass and ran in for a try in the 13
th minute to extend the UNE lead [

Brianna Dargin sandwiched a try by
Allie Gilbert with two of her own to put the Nor'easters in front 31-0 at halftime.
Bezzat added her second try of the day to start the final half and buried the conversion to make it 38-0 in the 51
st minute.
Olivia Stewart,
Delaney Hansen, and
Liz Cogan touched down the final tries for the Nor'easters. Bezzat was 6-for-9 on conversion kicks for UNE.
UNE wraps its regular season on Saturday, Oct. 29 at Norwich at 11 a.m.
