BIDDEFORD, Maine -- University of New England student-athletes Kevin Heintz and Alex Morganti of football, Cody Kennedy of men's soccer, Jessie Scott and Kyra Yu of women's ice hockey, and Anna Stowell of women's lacrosse have been honored as 2020-21 National Strength & Conditioning Association (NSCA) All-American Athletes of the Year.

The All-American Strength & Conditioning Athlete of the Year Award from the NSCA recognizes collegiate and high school athletes whose athletic accomplishments, in the opinion of their strength coach, reflect their dedication to strength training and conditioning.

UNE's recipients were nominated by Lyndie Kelley '11, Coordinator of Strength & Conditioning, for displaying exemplary Nor'easter G.R.I.T. (Greatness, Resilience, Integrity, Tenacity) over their years.
