GORHAM, Maine – The University of New England women's ice hockey shutout the University of Southern Maine, 1-0, in its first official competition in nearly a year.

Jessie Scott tallied the lone goal of the game as she put one in with 5:46 to play in the second period. Kyra Yu poked the puck away from the Huskies on the blue line as they attempted to clear their zone.
