BEVERLY, Mass. – #10 University of New England and #8 Endicott College did all the scoring the second period of a 2-2 overtime tie in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) men's hockey action at Bourque Arena on Friday night.
Jake Fuss scored the only goal of a seven-round shootout to give the Nor'easters (2-0-1, 2-0-1 CCC) an extra point in the conference standings.
Fuss also began the night with a power play goal 5:17 into the second to give UNE a 1-0 lead.

Jared Christy assisted on the score.
Endicott (2-1-1, 1-1-1 CCC) answered with goals by Andrew Kurapov and Eric Manoukian just 1:55 apart to take a 2-1 lead with 4:36 to play in the frame. But
Austin Morgan found
Aaron Aragon for a Nor'easter power play goal to knot the game at 2-2 in the final minute of the period.
Chris Jones also registered an assist on the play.
Neither team was able to break through in the third. Each side nearly won the game in overtime as shots by Kurapov and Aragon hit posts but stayed out of the net.
UNE outshot Endicott 37-31 on the night.
Billy Girard IV made 29 saves for the Nor'easters, while Conor O'Brien had 35 stops for the Gulls.
The teams finish the weekend series in Biddeford tomorrow night at 7 p.m.
