BIDDEFORD, Maine – The University of New England hosted its inaugural in-person Nor'easter 5K Bolt race during Homecoming Weekend on Saturday, Oct. 2.
 
The race began outside of UNE Blue Storm Stadium and followed a course all through campus, finishing at the center of the stadium. Numerous students, alumni, and community members participated in the race, which was held virtually last year. A virtual option for the race was also offered this year.
 
Prizes were awarded to the top male and female UNE student and non-student. Top students were Callum Boureau (20:14) and Leah DiCenso (31:42). Steve Knox (23:29) and Margo O'Connor (36:32) were the top non-student finishers.
 
UNE looks forward to growing the event in the years to come.
