MARSHFIELD, Mass. -- University of New England women's ice hockey juniors Shannon Nadeau and Jessie Scott led a group of five players named in the Colonial Hockey Conference (CHC) year-end honors as the all-league team and major award recipients for 2019-20 were announced Wednesday (Feb. 26) by CHC Commissioner Katie Boldvich.

Nadeau and Scott were tabbed on the 1st Team, at defense and forward, respectively. Junior goaltender Julia Benjamin and junior forward Kyra Yu received a 2nd Team selections, and the conference's five head coaches put first-year defense Avery Lutrzykowski on the All-Rookie Team.

The second-seeded Nor'easters will entertain No.3 Nichols College in the semifinals of the 2020 CHC Women's Ice Hockey Championship on Saturday (3 p.m.). UNE went 3-0-1 against the Bison during the regular-season.
