BIDDEFORD, Maine – Ashlie Jones scored her 11th goal of the season in the second period to help lead #9 Endicott past the University of New England, 2-1, in Colonial Hockey Conference (CHC) women's ice hockey action at the Harold Alfond Forum. The Gulls (23-2-0, 16-0-0 CHC) become the first team in league history to win every regular season conference game.
The Nor'easters (15-8-2, 10-4-2 CHC) struck first with a goal by
Avery Lutrzykowski just 3:11 into the first period.
Meagan Accardi won a face-off in the defensive zone to Lutrzykowski, and the first-year skated through the Endicott defense and floated a shot over the shoulder of Gulls goaltender Alyssa Peterson. [

UNE, with help from two power play chances, outshot Endicott 12-4 in the third, but were unable to get one past Peterson.
Shots narrowly favored the Gulls, 28-27. Both
Julia Benjamin for the hosts, and Peterson, had 26 saves in net.
The Nor'easters will entertain third-seed Nichols in the CHC Semifinals on Saturday, Feb. 29 at 3 p.m. The winner will advance to the Championship on March 7.
