UNE places 7th at New England Championships

KINGSTON, R.I. -- The University of New England women's swimming squad totaled 571 points and finished in 7th place out of 21 institutions at the 2020 New England Intercollegiate Swimming & Diving Association (NEISDA) Championships, as the four-day meet concluded Sunday (Feb. 16) at the Tootell Aquatic Center on the University of Rhode Island campus.

The Nor'easters ended behind Roger Williams University (1519), Simmons University (1426), Keene State College (1094), Bridgewater State University (743.5), Regis College (675.5), and the University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth (661).

Mikayla Sargent and Haley Griffin captured All-New England results during the weekend, touching the wall 6th in the 50-breaststroke (Sargent) and 200-backstroke (Griffin), respectively.
