OAKLAND, Maine -- Dylan Andrews, Tom Higgins, and Marcus Costa carded three of the top five individual rounds to pace the University of New England men's golf team in a runner-up showing out of the nine squads playing Waterville Country Club on Sunday (Sep. 22) in the University of Maine-Farmington Invitational.

The Nor'easters competed at the same course early in the week and improved by six shots to post 314, which was behind only the University of Southern Maine at 306. The Huskies were led by medalist Tristan Dundas with a 2-over-par 72. The host Beavers were next in the team standings with 318.

Andrews was second in the field of 45 with a 73, while Higgins and Costa each notched 76. UNE added 89 to wrap up its total, as both Cal Crosby and Rob Prentiss came in at that number.

The Nor'easters are back in action Wednesday (10 a.m.) as the hosts of the UNE Invitational at Cape Arundel Golf Club.
