BRISTOL, R.I. – Second-seeded Roger Williams University scored twice in the final 3:07 of play to complete a second-half comeback and edge third-seeded University of New England, 16-14, in the 2019 Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Women's Lacrosse Championship semifinals on Tuesday afternoon.

The Nor'easters finish the season with an overall record of 10-8.
Roger Williams trailed 9-7 at halftime, but scored the first three goals of the second half to pull in front 10-9. The Nor'easters were able to grab the lead back at 13-11 with 16:55 to play on two goals each by
Molly Camelo (CCC 2nd Team) and
Keara Dwyer (CCC 3rd Team).
The Hawks answered with three of their own, including a go-ahead goal by Shayne Rivard with 8:51 remaining.
Nichole Carvalho (CCC 1st Team) knotted the game for UNE at 14-14 with just under five minutes left, Rivard responded to put Roger Williams in front for good.
Emily Stoeppel (CCC 1st Team) and Devon Sarazin (CCC 3rd Team) led the Hawks offense with four goals apiece. Rivard added three scores and Ashley Warren (CCC 2nd Team) posted four assists. Stoeppel and Madi Drain (CCC 1st Team) combined for 11 caused turnovers. Lydia Nelson (CCC 2nd Team) had three saves.
Camelo finished with five goals and seven draw controls.
Casey Conwell had a trio of goals and two assists. Carvalho dished out four helpers and scored twice.
Olivia Carpenter (CCC 1st Team) equaled Camelo with seven draws and had a team-high three caused turnovers.
Maritza Nary totaled seven stops between the pipes.
The teams traded runs in the first half, as the Nor'easters took an early two-goal lead before allowing five straight to the Hawks. UNE matched the spurt with five consecutive goals to jump back ahead. Roger Williams tied it up at 7-7 before Carvalho and Camelo put the Nor'easters in front at the break.
