BIDDEFORD, Maine – The Babson College women's lacrosse team defeated the University of New England 24-5 on Wednesday afternoon at UNE Blue Bolt Field.
 
Lexi Lenaghan scored a game-high 10 goals and dished out two assists to lead the Beavers. Georgia Salvatore added four goals.
 
Molly Camelo led the Nor'easters with three goals. Olivia Carpenter and Nichole Carvalho also scored for the hosts. Camelo and Casey Conwell each had three ground balls and three draw controls in the loss.
 
Cricket Fligor turned away six shots for the Beavers. Taylor Hopkins had six saves for UNE. Katie Babineau played the final 15:30 in net, making four stops.
 
The Nor'easters return to action on Saturday afternoon in a Commonwealth Coast Conference matchup at Western New England at 1 p.m.
