BIDDEFORD, Maine – A short-handed goal by Taylor Chisholm with 3:02 to play lifted Salve Regina over the University of New England in Colonial Hockey Conference (CHC) action at the Harold Alfond Forum on Saturday.
Following a face-off victory in their own zone, Lexie Anderson flipped the puck up-ice to Chisholm who beat a UNE defender and scored the winner on a shot that barely trickled past the line.
The Nor'easters trailed 2-0 heading into the third period, but came alive down the stretch.
