BIDDEFORD, Maine – A short-handed goal by Taylor Chisholm with 3:02 to play lifted Salve Regina over the University of New England in Colonial Hockey Conference (CHC) action at the Harold Alfond Forum on Saturday.
 
Following a face-off victory in their own zone, Lexie Anderson flipped the puck up-ice to Chisholm who beat a UNE defender and scored the winner on a shot that barely trickled past the line.
 
The Nor'easters trailed 2-0 heading into the third period, but came alive down the stretch. Jessie Scott, once again, helped UNE back into the game, burying her 10^th goal of the year to trim the deficit to 2-1 early in the period [Watch]. Scott intercepted a Seahawk pass and stuffed in the tying score with 8:09 to play, her second-straight multi-goal game [Watch].
 
Salve Regina built its lead with a first period goal Amanda Fantasia and a score by Chisholm in the second.
 
Jennifer O'Connell stopped 33 shots for the Seahawks. Julia Benjamin made 28 save for the hosts.
 
The Nor'easters wrap up the regular season with a series against Nichols beginning at home on Friday, Feb. 15 at 7 p.m.
