WORCESTER, Mass. – Julia Benjamin recorded her second shutout of the season as the University of New England blanked Becker, 3-0, in a Colonial Hockey Conference (CHC) matchup at Worcester Ice Center on Saturday evening.
 
Kyra Yu put the visitors on the board at the 14:28 mark of the first period as Meghan Hamilton found her for the score. Hamilton added her own goal in the second period to put the Nor'easters in front 2-0. Bella Crugnale added a power play goal in the third period to put the game away.
 
The Hawks outshot the Nor'easters 28-24 but were unable to put a goal through. Benjamin stopped all 28 attempts she faced. Amber Lee had 21 saves in the loss.
 
UNE visits Salem State on Tuesday (Nov. 26) at 7 p.m.
