CASCO, Maine -- Michael Rich fired a 2-over-par round of 74 to top the individual field as the University of New England grabbed 3rd place at the John Queenan Memorial hosted by Saint Joseph's College of Maine on Tuesday (Sep. 4) at Point Sebago Golf Club.

For Rich, it was the second win of his career, after sharing first at the UNE Invitational last season. He was one better than Cam Letourneau of SJC in the 40-player competition.

The Nor'easters totaled 327 as a team, winding up behind the University of Southern Maine (315) and the host Monks (318) out of the eight institutions that posted a score.

Hunter Drew carded an 83 and Dylan Andrews added an 84 to UNE's number, while the final score of 86 came from both Colin Casamento and Austin Morgan.

Big Blue gets back to work next Tuesday (Sep. 11) at Waterville Country Club for the Thomas College Invitational.
