UNE competes at the UMF Invitational

OAKLAND, Maine -- The University of New England men's golf team placed ninth with a score of 335 at the University of Maine-Farmington Invitational, which was played on Saturday (Sep. 22) at Waterville Country Club.

With a total of 300, the University of Southern Maine took the title by 12 strokes over the host Beavers (312). Colby College and Husson University shared third at 314.

Jack Griffith of Colby carded a 3-over-par 73 for the individual crown, one ahead Greg Kalagias and Shaun McKinnon representing the Huskies.

For the Nor'easters, Michael Rich and Dylan Andrews posted rounds of 80. After Garrett Krisko turned in 85, Seth Semmelrock sealed the squad total with a 90.

Big Blue will prepare to host the UNE Invitational on Thursday (10 a.m.) at Cape Arundel Golf Club.
