GRAFTON, Mass. -- The University of New England recorded a score of 335 as teams vied to advance into the 2019 Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Men's Golf Championship at 18-hole qualifying round held Wednesday (Sep. 19) at Highfields Golf & Country Club.

Four of the six institutions will be moving onto the April 27-28 finals -- reigning champion Western New England University (302), Nichols College (306), Endicott College (309), and Roger Williams University (322). 

Andrew Crean of Western New England was the medalist with a 1-over-par 73 that was one stroke ahead of the next closest player in the field of 30.

For UNE, Hunter Drew and Seth Semmelrock came in with rounds of 80 and 81, respectively. Finishing with 87 was both Dylan Andrews and Colin Casamento.

The Nor'easters will head for Waterville Country Club and the University of Maine-Farmington Invitational on Saturday.
