Scoring Summary

BIDDEFORD, Maine – The Bryant University club rugby team defeated the University of New England, 22-17, on Friday night at UNE Blue Storm Stadium.
 
After an early try by the Bulldogs, Caitlin Paredes was able to knot the match at 5-5 with a score of her own late in the first half. Bryant scored again as time expired and with the made conversion led 12-5 at halftime.
 
The Bulldogs extended their lead to 22-5 with two more tries in the second half. Alex Wing-LaClaire closed the deficit to 22-10 with 8:27 to play. Emma Foss was awarded a penalty try as time expired.
 
UNE returns to action on Sunday, September 23 against Molloy College on the campus of Brown University in Providence, R.I.
