BRISTOL, R.I. -- Kaelin Hogan (CCC 1st Team / Offensive Player of the Year) had three goals and a season-high seven assists to lead second-seeded Roger Williams University in an 18-6 decision over sixth-seeded University of New England in the semifinals of the 2018 Commonwealth Coast Conference Women's Lacrosse Championship on Tuesday evening (May 1) at Bayside Field.
The Hawks (13-3) move on to face top-seeded Endicott College (a 20-3 winner No.4 Salve Regina) in Friday's title match

RWU took a 3-0 advantage earlier on, but UNE remained within two (5-3) inside of the 10 minutes to go in the 1st half. However, the hosts put away the last four of the period, and the initial three of the 2nd frame, to gain control of the scoreboard.
Delana Erickson notched a team-best four goals to pace the Hawks, while Devon Sarazin (CCC 2nd Team) and Shayne Rivard matched Hogan's three scores. In addition to a couple points, Emily Stoeppel (CCC 1st Team / Defensive Player of the Year) collected 10 draw controls, and Hogan grabbed four more restarts. Lydia Nelson (CCC 2nd Team) made 10 saves.
For the Nor'easters,
Jolena Lampron (CCC 1st Team) tallied four goals.
Anna Stowell (CCC 3rd Team) and
Molly Camelo each had one goal and one assist.
Maritza Nary posted her second-highest save total of the year with 13.
