BOSTON -- Simmons University put its depth to full use on Saturday (Nov. 17) during a 248-46 result against the University of New England women's swimming squad.

Four different Nor'easters picked up third-place points in events throughout the day. Haley Griffin did it twice, clocking a 1:07.15 in the 100-backstroke and a 2:23.99 in the 200 back.

Melissa Jakubowski (28.06 - 50-freestyle), MiKayla Sargent (2:47.75 - 200-breaststroke), and Taylor Gibson (12:20.93 - 1,000 free) supported the cause.

UNE will get a couple weeks off before heading to the Maine Meet at Bowdoin College on November 30/December 1.
