Scoring Summary

FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Sacred Heart defeated the University of New England women's rugby team 50-5 on Saturday afternoon in Fairfield, Conn.
 
The Pioneers took an 18-0 lead at the half. Isabelle Cuddy had two tries for Sacred Heart in the period. The lead was extended to 30-0 at the 16:36 mark of the second.
 
Caitlin Paredes found the touch line for the Nor'easters at 21:10 in the second half to make the score 30-5.
 
Cuddy led all players with three tries while Ariana Heonis and Madison Gorrigan each added two scores.
 
The Nor'easters will play their final home match of the season on Saturday, Oct. 20 against Mount St. Mary's. Match begins at a 1 p.m.
