SPRINGFIELD, Mass. -- Jacob Hickey and the University of New England men's cross country team both placed 4th at the Western New England University Invitational on Saturday (Oct. 13).

The Nor'easters posted a team score of 101 to wind up behind Harvard University (20), Bridgewater State University (57), and Wheaton College (94) in the field of 13 institutions.

Only three Crimson runners crossed the line in front of Hickey, who completed the 8K race in 25:37 (-0:20).

Ben Wright took 11th out of the 122 competitors with a time of 27:03, before UNE's total was rounded out by Anthony Chase (13th, 27:23), Donovan Duffy (37th, 29:06), and Alec Walker (39th, 29:09).

The Nor'easters now have two weeks to prepare for the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Championship at Gordon College on October 27.
