BANGOR, Maine --
Vonde Saunders registered both goals for No.17 University of New England, including the game-winner 2:29 into double overtime, as the Nor'easters edged Husson University by a 2-1 margin on Monday evening (Sep. 11) at the Winkin Complex.
The deciding marker came as

UNE (2-1) has claimed the last four meetings against the Eagles (2-2).
After a scoreless opening half, Saunders put the visitors ahead in the 44th minute, converting a feed from

It took seven saves for
Liz Sargent to earn the victory in goal for the Nor'easters, who wound up with a 23-17 advantage in shots and 10-7 edge in penalty corners through the course of 88 minutes.
On the other end for the Eagles, Anne Marie Provencal made 12 stops.
